Madrid summary: Spanish win for Caceres Sunday, 20 July 2014 13:41 MADRID (ESP, Jul 19): The 32nd Meeting Madrid (IAAF World Challenge at new track of Mortalaz Stadium) had some fine sprinting but aided by too much wind. For example the hurdles 13.18 (+3.0) by US Aleec Harris ahead of Shane Brathwaite of Barbados 13.32, Wayne Davis of Trinidad and Tobago 13.34 and Hungarian Balazs Baji 13.38 with German Gregor Traber 13.39. Even second from Herculis Orlando Ortega was there but did not finish the race.
New IAAF World Challenge meeting in Beijing Friday, 23 November 2012 10:42 BARCELONA (ESP): The IAAF Council presided over by President Lamine Diack began the first of a two-day session in the Arts Hotel, Barcelona, ahead of the weekend of IAAF Centenary celebrations in the Catalonian capital. Among them home stars and European champions Pavel Maslak for the 400 m and Vitezslav Vesely for javelin. Meeting director Jan Zelezny was specially happy that the biggest olympic athletics surprise Keshorn Walcott from Trinidad will come to the meet for his event.
